How do I create a wishlist on behalf of my loved ones?

You can still create wishlists on behalf of your loved ones using sub-accounts – for example for your child, your partner, or a family member.

👉 However, we have introduced a new feature, Kids Profiles, designed to make it even easier and safer to create wishlists for children.

Ønskeskyen’s recommendation: Use Kids Profiles for children

If you are creating wishlists for children, we recommend using Kids Profiles instead of sub-accounts.

With Kids Profiles, you get:

  • A safe and secure space for the child

  • Better overview of the child’s wishes

  • Features tailored specifically for children

If you don’t want to start using the new feature right away, you can still create lists on behalf of a sub-account for a while longer.

Create a new wish list on behalf of your loved ones

  1. Start by creating a wish list as if it were for yourself.

  2. Select "On behalf of your loved ones" as the purpose of the wish list.

  3. Give the wish list a name that fits the person or occasion.

  4. Click the blue "Add sub-account" button.

  5. Under "Other people", select the sub-account you want to create the wish list for.

  6. Click "Create wish list".

When the wish list has been created, you will:

  • See a small heart icon next to the wish list

  • See the text "on behalf of …" followed by the name of the sub-account inside the wish list

Change an existing wish list to be on behalf of your loved ones

You can also change an already created wish list so that it is instead created on behalf of one of your loved ones.

How to do it:

  1. Open the wish list you want to change.

  2. Click the three black dots at the top of the list.

  3. Select "Edit".

  4. The edit window opens.

  5. Below the "Save changes" button, find "Manage sub accounts >" and click it.

  6. Select the sub-account the wish list should be on behalf of.

  7. Save your changes.

After this, the wish list will work the same way as a list created directly on behalf of your loved ones.

Note about sub-accounts

Sub-accounts are part of your main account and cannot function as independent profiles.
